The Douglas Memorial Bridge was wiped out, along with the town of Klamath, during a torrential Christmas week storm in 1964. Townspeople waited while a massive logjam built up behind the bridge, finally breaking through the structure. The town was rebuilt a little farther from the river. Two of these bears are what's left of the bridge. Klamath, California, USA
